Due to the current economic climate SFNY is expanding our Customer Service Training program and curriculum.
In an effort to keep up with the growing demand for qualified staff from our employers, and assist the large numbers of newly unemployed individuals we have added more classes and are concentrating on our Customer Service training. The curriculum is based  upon instruction and interactive training in Customer Service protocols and techniques, business office policies and procedures, telephone etiquette, the principles of direct marketing, and a focus on the importance of business etiquette and conflict resolution.
There is also a focus on Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the use of Office 2007 software. The Office 2007 software offers exciting new utilities where students can create professional documents with the use of professional styling techniques and functions, which promote increased productivity. Students also experience the diversity in utilizing our new Tablet PC laptop computers, where they will learn the techniques of turning written text into beautifully and professionally formated documentation.
The program ends with the students creating fun, and exciting interactive PowerPoint Presentations. To prepare our students to keep pace with the changing dynamics of today's workforce, classes are designed to strengthen existing typing skills as well as expand computer proficiency. After completion of training our dedicated Job Development Team works closely with our clients to secure a position within the wide spectrum of the Customer Service Industry. We have extensive links with companies in the private sector and at SFNY we have a reputation for meeting the needs of  both our clients and our Employers. We host a high record of success in completion of training, job placement and retention.
